Specialized drone systems apply the same fire retardant you see dropped from airplanes during wildfire events onto targeted vegetation, structures and critical infrastructure. This protective barrier is non-toxic to animals, humans and plants. When exposed to high levels of heat, it turns into water vapor, helping extinguish flames.
Drone services are performed in advance of wildfire events. For safety, drone application services are unavailable during high winds or active wildfires.
